In this sense, he stressed that the ministry has been adopting a set of measures to guarantee quality and inclusive education.
“In particular, in the universalization of pre-school education, ensuring that no child aged 4-5 years is out of pre-school education and the extension of Compulsory Basic Education until the 8th year of schooling”, he stated.

These measures also include, according to the same source, the continuous improvement of the educational system through the reforms of Basic and Secondary Education, the implementation of the National System of Assessment of Students’ Learning, the operationalization of the System of Continuous Training for Teachers and the restructuring of the Communication and Educational Technologies System.

“Also, the Government implemented free access to education, namely the exemption of tuition and fees, ensuring the attendance of all students from the 1st to the 12th year of schooling, as well as all students with disabilities, from preschool to university education, are exempt from paying tuition fees”, he listed, in addition to the National Signaling System for Children with Special Educational Needs.
These measures of cohesion and social, educational and university inclusion, he said, cover more than 140,000 children, adolescents and young people.
