Africa-Press – Cape verde. The municipality of Porto Novo, in Santo Antão, has recently seen a “strong dynamic” in terms of private investment, with the realisation of various projects, especially in the sector of tourism.
Through the municipality’s page on the social network Facebook, the city council today highlighted the fact that “more and more” investors “are betting” on the municipality of Porto Novo, “setting up their businesses” and contributing to the development of the municipality.
“We guarantee that all those who want to invest in a wide range of sectors will always find a city council with its doors open and making it easier for more companies to come to this municipality,” said the mayor, referring to the inauguration, in recent days, of two more business units in this municipality in the transport and tourism sectors.
The Tourism, commerce, agriculture, renewable energies and industry are the areas that have attracted the attention of investors, and by the end of 2024 there will be an investment of more than 340,000 escudos in the cement industry (production of pozzolanic cement).
