City Hall of Tarrafal promotes training on juvenile associativism

Africa-Press – Cape verde. Fifteen community leaders, young people and association technicians from the municipality of Tarrafal, in the countryside of Santiago, began on Monday, a training course on youth associations and its importance in the local development process.

The training course, lasting five days, to be delivered by the trainers Denilson Monteiro and Isa Varela, is promoted by the City Hall of Tarrafal, through the Youth portfolio, in partnership with the Cabo Verdean Federation of Community Associations (FCAC).

According to a note from the City Hall of Tarrafal, the course aims to provide the graduates with knowledge about associativism, its importance in civil society, techniques of how to create an association, types of associations, young people and associativism, as well as to hold practical group work on this theme.

The training, which will run until this Friday, the 18th, in the Noble Hall of the City Hall of Tarrafal, according to the same source, remains open to receive more young people who want to develop their skills in youth associations.
