Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Ministry of Justice promotes, on the 22nd and 23rd of September, the Forum to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Cape Verde and the National Human Rights Day, which is celebrated on the 25th of this month.
The activity is promoted in partnership with the Instituto Superior de Ciências JurÃdicas e Sociais, the UNDP and UNICEF, according to a note from the Government.
The forum is intended for Sovereignty Bodies, public administration staff, lawyers/jurists, university professors and magistrates.
The objective, according to the same source, is to promote the Constitution of the Republic and its principles, strengthen civic awareness, raise awareness and reflect on Human Rights in Cape Verde.
The event, scheduled for 2:30 pm, will take place in one of the hotels in the City of Praia and will be attended by the Minister of Justice of Portugal, Catarina Sarmento e Castro.
