Africa-Press – Cape verde. In the month of July 2022, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) registered an average change of 6.1% in the last twelve months, 0.6 pp higher than that recorded in the previous month.
According to INE data released today, the monthly rate of change in the CPI was 1.2%, 0.6 percentage points (pp) higher than that recorded in the previous month, that is, June.
The accumulated rate of change in the CPI was 5.4%, a rate 3.4 pp higher than that observed in the same month of the previous year.
The year-on-year rate of change in the total CPI, in July 2022, was 9.0%, 0.8 pp higher than in the previous month.
In the period under analysis, the CPI registered an average change of 6.1% in the last twelve months, 0.6 pp higher than that recorded in the previous month.
The underlying inflation indicator (total index excluding energy and unprocessed food) showed a year-on-year change of 6.7%, 0.4 pp higher than that recorded in June 2022.
