Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) will continue, on Tuesday, 2nd, its consultation work with national entities on the Management of the Social Sustainability Fund for Tourism and the Environment Fund.

In a statement cited by Inforpress, this legislative body, which, among others, has the function of monitoring the Executive and the constitutionality of laws, informs that the hearings will continue on the 2nd and 3rd of April, in the multipurpose room of the National Assembly.

According to the same source, these meetings aim to hear and analyze the statements of the personalities involved with the facts relating to the investigation, and this time, the CPI will debate the management of the Tourism Fund following a work agenda for five days.

In this context, on Tuesday, 2nd, the parliamentary hearing will hear, in the morning, the former president of Praia City Council, Óscar Santos, the Finance inspector Renato Fernandes and the Minister of Tourism, Carlos Santos.

On April 3rd, the CPI will consult the Minister of the Environment, Gilberto Silva, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Olavo Correia.
