Africa-Press – Cape verde. CVTelecom shareholders meet in an extraordinary session on the 28th for appraisal of the company’s request for the issuance of 300 million escudos bond loan.
According to the call to which Inforpress had access, the bond loan, to be made through the Cabo Verde Stock Exchange (BVCV), is intended for investments in 2022.
Contacted by Inforpress, the chairman of the board of directors of Cabo Verde Telecom (CVTelecom), João Domingos Correia, has failed to mention details on the planned investments, stating that they will still be approved by the board of directors for further disclosure.
However, he said that in 2021 the company made “strong investments” in strengthening the digital transformation process, in line with the Government’s digital agenda, and the balance sheet of the year “is positive”.
