Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cape Verdean international cyclists, Nélio Cruz and Rúben Lopes make a “positive and high” assessment of the participation of the Cabo Verde national team in the cycling world cup, held this year in Glasgow, Scotland.
Speaking to Inforpress, in the city of Praia, Nélio Cruz considered that at an individual level he gained more experience and a different way of thinking in terms of work and competition.
“In a competition of this level we have to come back with some experience and knowledge, so both individually and as a team my assessment is extremely positive,” he said.
The cyclist from São Vicente pointed out that after this participation the difference in terms of training and in relation to the other participating countries became clear, so that in the next competitions there will be more balance.
