Africa-Press – Cape verde. National deputies return to parliament on Wednesday, 4th, after the parliamentary vacation period, for the first session of October, which will be marked by a debate with the Minister of Education, Amadeu Cruz.

According to a press release from the National Assembly, in addition to the debate with the person responsible for Education, the session will have a question period for the Government’s deputies, supported by the Movement for Democracy (MpD).

It is also planned to discuss and approve the general bill that establishes pensions and guarantees rights to Military personnel from the first incorporation in 1975 and the proposed law that establishes the bases of the municipal budget with a vote on the specialty and overall final.

Also according to the note, deputies will approve the draft resolution that constitutes a parliamentary commission of inquiry into the management of the Social Sustainability Fund for Tourism and the Environment Fund, a draft resolution on the official celebration of the centenary of the birth of Amílcar Cabral and the draft resolution that changes the composition of the specialized committees.

Minutes of the solemn session commemorating the 48th anniversary of national independence will also be recorded.
