Africa-Press – Cape verde. The “Destino Fogo” project, co-financed by the European Union and implemented by the Italian non-governmental organization (NGO) Cospe, marks Europe month, on the island of Fogo, with a conversation on youth empowerment.
The project advances in a press release that, in partnership with the European Union delegation in Cape Verde, chose the Eduardo Gomes Miranda educational complex in the city of Cova Figueira to promote, today, a conversation with students from this educational establishment.
The European Union delegation in Cape Verde celebrates the month of May as Europe month with a series of cultural and artistic events.
Various activities are scheduled across the country, all with free entry, including a musical concert, artistic workshop, cinema screenings, project fair, poetry and poetics festival, as well as the conversation with students taking place today on the island of Fogo , more specifically in the city of Cova Figueira, municipality of Santa Catarina.
The “Destino Fogo” project is co-financed by the European Union and implemented by the Italian NGO, Cospe in partnership with the Associação Projecto Vitó, Laço Branco, Cape Verdean Association for the Fight Against Gender-Based Violence (ACVLVBG), FG Turismo, AITR and the municipal councils of São Filipe, Mosteiros and Santa Catarina do Fogo.
