Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cardinal Arlindo Furtado called on the Christian faithful, on Easter Sunday in Praia, to live like Christ, who managed to overcome death, and also to be witnesses of Jesus in society.
“The message that, as members of Jesus Christ, who rose from the dead, and destined for resurrection, our life must develop, precisely in tune with this reality we are called to follow,” Don Arlindo told the press, moments before the Easter Mass celebrated in the Main Church the City of Praia.

“This will make our lives a blessing to others. The life of Jesus is a blessing for all of us and together we will walk as a family, in communion, in the image of the Most Holy Trinity to the greater wonder that is eternal communion with God and with the Saints,” he added.
