Africa-Press – Cape verde. The organization of the Tourism and Handicraft Fair (Expotur), which had been running since Friday, in Sal, and ended this Sunday, takes a positive view of the event, expressing its satisfaction with the results obtained in this considered privileged space for business.
The administrator of the Cape Verde International Fair (FIC), Angélica Fortes, in a final report to the press, said that it was worth the holding of this eighth edition of the Tourism and Handicraft Fair, after a seven-year hiatus, as the last edition it was in 2015.
“It was definitely worth it. This is a restart after seven years without this themed fair, Expotur, here in Sal. Our determination made a difference, and the exhibitors are pleased to have this opportunity to present their products and services… therefore, for us, the balance is extremely positive”, stressed the official.
Admitting that it was not easy to organize this fair, after this break, the same source said that the important thing is that the event allowed contacts and business to happen.
“Exhibitors said that they made several contacts… and that is what matters”, he commented, referring, however, that the greatest difficulty initially encountered was to convince companies to join the event, whose participation would allow them “good results, with certainty”.
