Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Cabo Verdean Fencing Federation (FCG) signed a cooperation agreement with the Italian Fencing Federation in Rome on Tuesday to strengthen existing relations, intensify training and exchanges between the parties.
At the time of signature, the president of the Cabo Verdean Federation of the sport, Captain Isaias Brito, was represented by Maria Silva, vice-president of the Federation, in a ceremony witnessed by former FIE president Master Giorgio Scarso, current honorary president of FCE and FIE.
Although physically absent, Captain Isaias Brito addressed his message in the event, considering that this agreement “puts black and white relations with the International Fencing Federation, an institution has been present since the beginning of the creation of the Cabo Verdean Fencing Federation (FCE).
“We will intensify the training with the Italian part sending instructors for the training of instructors, but also of referees, judges, and training in the scope of management in Cabo Verde,” captain Isaias said.
