FIFA FIFA RELEASED LATEST WORLD RANKINGS WITH NO MAJOR CHANGES IN POSITIONS

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Pharaohs of Egypt maintained position at 40th place in FIFA’s August world rankings released on Thursday. There are no major changes in positions on the latest FIFA list.

Egypt are in sixth place among African countries, behind Senegal at 18th place, Morocco at 23th, Tunisia at 30th, Nigeria at 31st, and Cameroon at 38th.

Ghana, who will welcome 2022 FIFA World Cup Trophy on September 3, are at 60th globally and 11th on the African continent.

Brazil remains on top of the world ranking, ahead of Belgium, Argentina, France, and England respectively.

The top 10 maintain last month’s ranking.

Egypt – who previously made it into the world’s top 10 teams after they won three consecutive Africa Cup of Nations trophies in 2006, 2008, and 2010 – placed third among Arab countries, after Morocco and Tunisia.
