“After its premiere in Cape Verde and the United States of America, ‘Sodade’ will now enter a new phase of recognition by conquering the commercial circuit in Portugal, where it will be shown in cinemas from the 28th of this month”, reports TVA.

But the official premiere is scheduled for the 27th of this month, at the El Corte Inglés cinema in Lisbon (Portugal).

According to the same source, this achievement marks an important step forward for national cinema, making “Sodade” “the first Cape Verdean film to be commercially distributed in cinemas in Portugal and other international territories”.
