Speaking to Inforpress, the councilor for the sanitation area, João José Canuto, said that the “city roads are practically clean” and that the damage to the roads under construction and that require greater intervention are being repaired by the company responsible for carrying out the works. .

According to Canuto, in the interior of the municipality of São Filipe, there are records of floods on some roads that “should be removed by the company responsible for maintaining the roads”, and the council should activate Estradas de Cabo Verde for this purpose.

Holes on the Cruz dos Passos/Santa Filomena section

The Cruz dos Passos/Santa Filomena section is the one that inspires the most care, due to the appearance of several holes in the road, near Pedro Monteiro Cardoso square, in the north access to Fonte Bila beach, Cruz dos Passos square and other small roads .

Apart from floods on some roads, there is no record of major damage, according to Civil Protection councillor, Euclides Fernandes.
