Africa-Press – Cape verde. The concerns and dreams of people from Fogo about the development of São Filipe and the island should be explained at the development conference on the island of Fogo, which will be held as part of the Prime Minister’s three-day visit
The position was defended on Wednesday, 12th, by the Minister of Education, Amadeu Cruz, who represented the Government in the solemn commemorative session of the 101st anniversary of the elevation of São Filipe to the category of city.
“I recorded the dreams that belong to everyone, without distinction. These are shared dreams”, said Amadeu Cruz, who announced that the Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, will carry out, “probably later this month”, a three-day visit to the island of Fogo and in the scope of which the conference of island development.
According to Amadeu Cruz, there will be a meeting of the Council of Ministers and the mayors will be invited to participate in the part that can be open to participation and will have the opportunity to list their development dreams.
