Africa-Press – Cape verde. The cruise ship Hanseatic Spirit is anchored off the bay of the port of Vale dos Cavaleiros, on the island of Fogo, with more than two hundred tourists on board.
The 139 meter long and 22 meter wide ship, manufactured in 2021, flying the Maltese flag and with 170 crew members, was anchored off the bay in the port of Vale dos Cavaleiros and tourists disembarked via boats.
The ship anchored in the bay of the Vale dos Cavaleiros port at around 8:00 am and after a routine inspection, some of the tourists began to disembark.
Information collected from the agency indicates that of the 221 passengers on board, more than 170 will disembark to visit part of the island, particularly Chã das Caldeiras.
This is the first cruise ship to call at the port of Vale dos Cavaleiros during this period considered high for tourism and according to information gathered from the head of the Maritime Navigation Agency, Agenamar, in addition to the island of Fogo, the cruise itinerary in Cape Verde includes passage through the islands of Santo Antão, S.Vicente, Boa Vista, Santiago (Praia) and Sal.
