Africa-Press – Cape verde. About two hundred people, among livestock farmers and drivers of rental cars, joined today next to the animal feed sales station in an attempt to get some quantity.
Most people are livestock and poultry farmers, notably chicken, or drivers who usually buy animal feed for livestock farmers who cannot go to town for this purpose.
In an attempt to facilitate the process, the heads of the sales office distributed passwords to people and around 10:00 a.m. about two hundred people were waiting their turn to purchase animal feed.
Some livestock farmers contacted on site by Inforpress said that there is no pasture due to drought and bad agricultural year and for the rescue of their animals the only solution at this time is feed.
