Africa-Press – Cape verde. Twenty-five fishmongers from the municipality of Mosteiros will receive thermal bags, made available by the City Hall of Mosteiros, in the framework of activities commemorating the National Fisherman’s Day.
Through a press release, the City Hall of the Mosteiros said that intends to carry out a set of activities to mark the National Fisherman’s Day in the municipality, which marks the beginning of the community development week that the institution promotes from February 5 to 11.
In addition to the delivery of thermal bags to fishmongers in the municipality, the City Hall will also honor two local fishermen, Valdomiro Antunes, better known as Bode Loma, posthumously, and Luís de Andrade, better known as Mané di Bodin.
A conversation is also scheduled between the mayor of Mosteiros, Fábio Vieira, and the fishermen, at a time when the City Hall is finalising the work of the largest investment made in the fisheries sector, which is related to the development project of the fisheries row.
