Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Fogo native of Ireland Lopes, Cape Verdean international footballer, signed with Torreense, a club in the first division of the Portuguese women’s football championship.
The forward Ireland Lopes, remember, had traveled to Portugal, last July, to do tests at Benfica.
Now, he signed a contract with Torreense, as the club published on its social network.
“The Cape Verdean international plays as a forward (…) and will be another element at the disposal of coach Renato Fernandes”, reads the official page of Torreense, a club that plays in the first division of the women’s league.
Ireland Lopes represented the Seven Stars women’s team for several seasons.
