Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Académica da Preguiça and Belo Horizonte clubs won, at the Di Deus Stadium, their first round of the championship against the Ultramarina and Sports da Ribeira Brava, respectively.
In the first match, Académica beat the Reds from Tarrafal (Ultramarina) 2-1, with goals from Gay and Raul, and Patchik scored for Ultramarina, all in the additional time.
In the second game of the afternoon, the Belo Horizonte team beat the Desportivo de Ribeira Brava by 3-1, with goals from Kendji and Cadi. Guiras scored Ribeira Brava’s goal from a penalty.
