Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Cabo Verdean footballer Jovane Cabral will represent Lazio of Italy on loan from Sporting Portugal, the sports newspaper Portuguese ABOLA confirmed today.
“The two clubs closed the business (…) and the Italian club pays a million euros of loan fee, with a non-compulsory purchase option in the amount of eight million euro at the end of the season,” writes that electronic newspaper.
This season, the 23-year-old made 17 lion-to-chest games in which he scored three goals and made an assist. The young man, born in Santa Catarina de Santiago, who in Cabo Verde represented the Desportivo de Nhagar (Assomada), was hired by Sporting de Portugal in the 2013/2014 season to represent the juniors of this club Portuguese.
Jovane Cabral made his debut for Cabo Verde at the age of 18 in a friendly match with Luxembourg in March 2017. The first call-up for an official match was for the 2017 CAN qualifiers, with Libya held at the National Stadium, but it was not used.
