Africa-Press – Cape verde. Thirty-four referees from all sports regions in the country participate from Monday to Friday, 28, in the second course for elite referees, promoted by the National Arbitration Commission with the support of the International Football Federation (FIFA).

The course, according to the president of the National Arbitration Commission of the Cabo Verdean Football Federation, Iliseu Cardoso, brings together the best of the sporting regions and aims to train national referees for the new football season.

The central objective of carrying out this training, said the official, is to create the ranking of Cape Verde referees, after evaluation during elite training and in the national football championship.

For the selection of trainees, clarified Iliseu Cardoso, that was taken into account the performance of the referees in the last national championship, the age and physical tests of the last elite training, which took place in August 2021,

During these days, trainees will discuss, through images and video, changes to the game’s laws and practical implementation.
