Africa-Press – Cape verde. Prices of imported products increased 1.4 percent (%) in April this year to 1.6 percentage points (p.p.) than in the previous month, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
According to the Foreign Trade Price Index released today by the INE, the monthly change rate in the prices of exported products was -0.4% in April 2022, a value lower than 0.1 p.p. compared to the previous month.
According to the same source, the monthly change rate recorded by the Terms of Exchange Index was -1.1%, increased by 1.5 p.p. compared to the previous month.
The import price index stood at 111.2 and increased by 1.4% over the previous month. On the other hand, the underlying and volatile import indices grew 1.4% and 1.5% respectively.
