Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cousins Nina and Filú are now four years missing, leaving their parents and family in tears, but the mother of one of these children still believes they are alive and can be found.

The missing of the two cousins happened on a Saturday afternoon, February 3rd. At the time, Sandro Mendes (Filú) was ten years old and Clarisse Mendes (Nina) was turning 12.

They left home in Achada Limpa, City of Praia, to buy sugar, at the request of grandmother Marcelina Lopes (Bianina), in Água Funda, in the City of Praia, and did not return, leaving their parents and family in tears.

Despite searches by family members that night and then by the authorities, the two children were never found.
