Africa-Press – Cape verde. This afternoon, the Government launches the Cape Verde Foreign Trade Portal, considered by the deputy prime minister and minister of Finance, as an “important” instrument to combat bureaucracy and improve the service provided.
It is, according to Olavo Correia, an internal system in which the State is properly organized and the organizations speak to each other to respond more easily and quickly to the demands of citizens and companies.
“This means that, with the foreign trade portal, from the single counter, the single window, entrepreneurs, companies and individuals will be able to have access to all the services that the State provides for customs processing and processing in the regarding foreign trade. I think it will be an important leap in terms of combating bureaucracy, in terms of better time management,” he explained.
The government official, who was speaking to journalists on the afternoon of this Thursday, 16th, added that this system will make life easier for citizens and companies, in terms of the time invested in bureaucracy and at the same time allows for improving the quality and security of public service provided in relation to foreign trade.
“Citizens and companies cannot be dealing with several bodies to have access to public services”, highlighted the Minister of Business Development.
The launch of the Cape Verde Foreign Trade Portal is scheduled for 5pm, this Friday, in one of the capital’s hotels and will be presided over by the Minister of State Modernization and Public Administration, Edna Oliveira.
