Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Prime Minister’s Deputy Secretary of State, Lourenço Lopes, visited the facilities of Rádio e Televisão de Cabo Verde (RTC), where he announced a new board of directors and a “significant increase” in the compensatory allowance.
“From September or October we will have the new Board of Directors of Rádio e Televisão de Cabo Verde (RTC).
The independent Board has already done its job and in September there will most likely be a parliamentary hearing of the three members and I am confident that by October 1st we will already have the new RTC Board in place,” the Governor said.
. Lourenço Lopes announced that the country is preparing to receive a new RTC board soon.
He confirmed that the Independent Council has completed its activities and revealed that the parliamentary hearing of the three members of the Municipal Council will take place in September, with a view to setting up the new Board of Directors of the RTC from the 1st october.
The Deputy Secretary of State to the Prime Minister also pointed out that one of the main responsibilities of the new Board of Directors will be the signing of the contract for the provision of services between RTC and the State, which will replace the contract in force since 2013.
