Africa-Press – Cape verde. Through an international conference, given by António Rebelo de Sousa, the Ministry of Finance proposes to analyze the implications of the current world context on the future of the national economy and possible alternatives.
“From the Alternative Scenarios of the World Economy to the Future of Cape Verde in the International Context”, the name of the conference, is organized by the Minister of Finance and Business Development, through Pró Empresa, in partnership with the Bank of Cape Verde (BCV).
It aims to analyze the alternative scenarios of the world economy and its implications for the future of development of Cape Verde, and will be given by Professor António Rebelo de Sousa.
“The great instability of the current geopolitical situation has caused blockages in production and distribution chains on a global scale”, which, in turn, “poses important challenges for Cape Verde, as a small island country and with an economy that takes effect”, says the Government, in a press release.
Innovative partnerships
In this sense, the executive says he is “obliged to carry out innovative partnerships, take the right measures and create the necessary and indispensable conditions for its development”.
The conference will take place this Friday, June 10, at 4 pm, in the auditorium of Banco de Cabo Verde (BCV), and will feature the intervention of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Business Development, Olavo Correia.
