The deputy prime minister and minister of Finance gave these guarantees during the opening of the V International Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fair, which takes place at the Cape Verde International Fair (FIC), an event that is part of a “broader strategy” of the Government , given the commitment to a habitable planet and a sustainable world.
“This is fundamental and crucial for Cape Verde. It is crucial for citizens and crucial for companies to have cheaper energy, cleaner energy and energy that is less dependent on external funds and energy that is more anchored in endogenous resources. We have to protect our territory, we have to have a responsibility because our vision, the vision of the world and of Cape Verde is of a greener, bluer, more digital, more intelligent, more open and more inclusive country”, he said..
The fifth edition of the International Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fair takes place under the motto “Building a Sustainable Future”.
In addition to the exhibition of products and services from more than 40 national and international stands, the “Thematic Forum” on the energy transition is taking place in parallel with the participation of national and international speakers.
