Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Government has announced that it will work on the Strategic Social Dialogue Agreement 2022-2026 with the social partners, with a view to “developing an income policy to protecting the wages of Cabo Verdeans”.
In a statement sent to Inforpress, the Government said this agreement is part of “a prudent monetary policy to guarantee price stability and safeguards the competitiveness of the country to create jobs through productive investments”.
According to the executive, the Strategic Social Dialogue Agreement 2022-2026 will also strengthen the construction of the recovery and the completion of the National Employment Agenda 2022-2026, which will allow the reduction of unemployment, especially young people, young people without training and outside the educational system.
The Government also said that it “has acted simultaneously on two fronts to overcome the health crisis and to cushion the economic shock”, adopting “measures to strengthen the national health system and mitigate the effects of the crisis on the national productive fabric and the purchasing power of families”.
