Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Cabo Verde News Agency (Inforpress) participates from today until Friday, the 27th, in Rabat, Morocco, in a training on the “techniques for the good practices of sports journalism.

The training, organized by the Atlantic Federation of News Agencies (FAAPA), has the presence of 16 of the 25 affiliated agencies, and Inforpress is represented by journalist Oldemiro Moreira.

At the opening ceremony, which took place at the Moroccan News Agency (MAP) office, FAAPA Secretary General Mohamed Anis said the aim of this training is to strengthen the capabilities of sports journalists for better handling of issues related to the coverage of major national, regional and international sporting events.

The official also said they intend to promote the performance and productivity of sports journalists in the coverage and treatment of sports information, and consolidate the capacities of journalists to produce innovative content in the area of information, respecting the principles of professional ethics and journalistic ethics.
