Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Interilhas ship will be designated to cover the São Vicente/São Nicolau/Sal/Boavista/Santiago route and return, during the repair period of the Dona Tututa ship.
According to a note from CV Interilhas, this measure aims to minimize the impact on the service provided to its passengers and maintain the territorial connection. “As part of our commitment to our customers and in the highest public interest of the concession, with the aim of guaranteeing the continuity of maritime connections and the integrity of our operational model”.
The operating model and respective schedules, according to the same source, are being adapted to the circumstances.
On the other hand, the same source indicates that the repair of the ship Dona Tututa continues with work on board, awaiting the arrival of spare parts from Portugal, whose delivery is affected by the cancellation of flights to São Vicente, due to the occurrence of dry fog in the Cape Verde archipelago.
“The GRUPO ETE team is committing all its resources to ensuring the Dona Tututa ship is ready as quickly as possible, paying attention to the adversities caused by the cancellation of flights”, he highlights.
