The Minister of Territorial Cohesion, Janine Lélis, is on the island of Sal to preside over the meeting of the Regional Coordination Council, which will take place this Tuesday, 31st, in the Main Hall of the Town Hall, in addition to visiting some structures on the island.

According to a press release, the Regional Coordination Council is the body that coordinates the execution, monitoring and evaluation of the National Territorial Cohesion Policy at the island level between the Government, municipalities and civil society organisations, especially in the areas of decentralization and local and regional development policies.

Work schedule

The minister’s work agenda includes the presentation of the Regional Coordination Council; Housing and Social Facilities Strategy; Beach Management on Sal Island; Integration of Local Products and Services in the Tourism Value Chain; Tourism and Coordination of Institutional Actors for Development

The minister also has planned visits to institutions and companies, including the Kite Beach school in Santa Maria, a fish cannery, the United Association for the Future of Children in Terra Boa, and even an aviary, also in the Terra Boa area. Good.
