Africa-Press – Cape verde. The President of the Republic, José Maria Neves, presides today, the 12th of June, at the solemn session of the commemorations of the day of the municipality of Paul.
During the festivities, which culminate on the 13th of June, José Maria Neves will participate in the Eucharistic celebration in honor of Santo António das Pombas, patron saint of the municipality of Paul and the city of Pombas.
Contact with the population
The PR is already on the island of Santo Antão, where it carries out a program of contacts with the populations of different locations on the island, with emphasis on the Figueiras valley, one of the most isolated on the island of Santo Antão.
With the initiative, the PR wants to have the opportunity for another round of consultations and contacts with city councils, the living forces and society in Santanton, in general.
