The act, signed between the national director of the PJ, Manuel António da Lomba, and the general director of the Directorate of Heritage and Public Procurement, Francisco Moreira, as announced by the PJ on its page on the social network Facebook, focuses on the manifestation of its interest with the General Directorate of Heritage and Public Procurement (DGPC) in finding a physical space for the storage of motorcycles, motor vehicles and other movable assets confiscated and confiscated in the context of criminal proceedings.
The PJ also justifies the agreement between the two institutions with the capacity of its headquarters, in Achada Grande, due to the increase in seizures.
“This reality means that the movable assets seized by the PJ are confiscated by the court and subject to deterioration or depreciation, and it is the State’s obligation to guarantee the physical integrity of the confiscated motorcycles, motor vehicles and other movable assets while the process is ongoing. criminal”, reads the objectives of the Notice of Allocation initialed between the parties.
