According to the leader of the Movement for Democracy (MpD – in power), Zacarias Freire, the island is experiencing several gains, highlighting the investment in sport with investments made in grass fields in the towns of Barreiro and the town of Calheta, which , as he assured, is in its final stretch.
He also highlighted that the city council has been investing in culture and youth, admitting that there is still a lot to be done, in fact he assured that this is what motivates the council team and the bench that supports it
He recalled, on the other hand, the investments made in urban and environmental rehabilitation in all towns, highlighting the inauguration of the works for the rehabilitation of Avenida Amílcar Cabral, inaugurated this Thursday.
