Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Organization for the Integral Development of the Family (ODIF) participates, on 14th and 15th this month, in Tanzania, in the African Regional Symposium under the theme “Supporting the gains of the implementation of the Marrakesh Declaration, 2018 in Africa”.
According to a statement sent to Inforpress, the civil society organization will be represented by its president, Felisberto Moreira, as focal point of the West African Network for Human Rights Defenders (ROADDH).
The African Regional Symposium on the implementation of the Marrakesh Declaration on the enlargement of the civic space and the promotion and protection of human rights defenders aims to promote and increase regional and international support for the implementation of the Marrakesh Declaration.
The meeting will also serve to present and discuss national and regional successes and challenges and build the implementation capacity to give this activity a more specific focus.
