Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Ministry of Finance and Business Development (MFFE) promotes, on August 24, a ‘workshop’ to collect contributions for the Cabo Verde Transparency Portal that is being developed by the Government
The event, which takes place in the MFFE’s multi-purpose room, is part of the Public Finance reforms and aims to provide citizens with financial information on central and local administration and public companies, on a single portal.
The intention is to provide citizens, with the better accessible, complete and secure way, with data that meets good international practices, reinforcing the framework of transparency, relevance and credibility. The creation of the Transparency Portal began in April 2022, with the contracting of an IMF Technical Assistance.
