Africa-Press – Cape verde. The First Lady, Katisa Carvalho, this Saturday afternoon, in Ribeira Grande de Santiago, the activities of the Ser + Dar + Mission, promoted by the Organization for the Integral Development of the Family (ODIF).
The initiative is part of a set of activities being carried out by ODIF, in partnership with the NGO Ser + Dar + Terapeutas Sem Fronteiras de Portugal, municipal councils of São Domingos and Ribeira Grande de Santiago and other local partners.It includes health fairs, home visits, awareness-raising lectures and training in the areas of geriatrics, pediatrics, physiotherapy in the pre-delivery, pregnant and post-partum areas, infectious diseases and respiratory infections.
These activities have been developed by a team of health professionals in the areas of rehabilitation, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, clinical psychology, community nursing and medicine.
They are aimed at health and education professionals, association leaders, bedridden patients, the elderly and children.
ODIF is a non-governmental, independent, non-profit, national organization whose objective is to help families “live in conditions of equal opportunities, freedom and human dignity”.
