Africa-Press – Cape verde. Mobility and support for mitigating the economic consequences of the crisis caused by the war in Ukraine are “immediate priorities” in Portugal’s relationship with Cabo Verde, Foreign Minister Portuguese said today in Praia.

Speaking to the press, after being received by the President of the Republic of Cabo Verde, José Maria Neves, João Gomes Cravinho said he returns to Portugal with “a lot of homework” to do, but also with “great satisfaction”.

The head of Portuguese diplomacy, which ended this Wednesday’s three-day visit to the archipelago, also said that “relations are always strengthened.

“This has to be the goal of a Portuguese Foreign Minister. Our relations have a great continuity”, added João Gomes Cravinho, for whom immediately there are two areas in which we have to work, being one in the mobility agreement and the creation of better conditions for mobility between Portugal and Cabo Verde.
