“The completion of the asphalting works in the lower part of the municipality, the requalification of the municipality’s school park, the continuation of the programs “Nha kaza nha grandeur” and “Uma Família uma Torne”, the beginning of works on the roads that connect Cutelo Alto to Monte Velha and Penedo Rachado, the requalification of the multi-sports facilities in Fajãzinha and Queimada Trás are among the investment priorities for 2024.

The plan foresees important interventions in the areas of health, family and social action, the reinforcement of the municipal social and school action program, the continuation of the “more health” project, which guarantees specialized medical assistance to hundreds of low-income families, the continuation of the “Bedja ku dignity” (old with dignity) program are part of the activities.

The culture, sports and youth sectors will continue to deserve “special attention” from the city council in 2024 with the implementation of the municipal equality and gender equity plan, the holding of the municipal youth week and the program to promote the associative movement and youth volunteering, in addition to the appreciation, preservation and promotion of the entire historical-cultural heritage of our municipality.
