The athlete, an Olympic scholarship holder for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, defeated Morocco in the grand final of the championship, which took place this Saturday in Cameroon.
Nancy was fighting in the 63-64 kg category, according to the Cape Verdean Olympic Committee.
