Morabeza leads group C with four points
The Morabeza team, champion of the island of Brava, leads the group with four points, thanks to the 2-1 victory over Académica do Mindelo in the first round of the National Football Championship and the draw yesterday, Saturday, against Varandinha do Tarrafal de Santiago, two-time regional champion of Santiago Norte.
Group C is made up of Associação Académica do Mindelo, as holder of the title of National Champion of Cape Verde, and the regional champions of Brava (Sport Club Morabeza), Maio (ASC Figueirense) and Santiago Norte (GD Varandinha).
