Africa-Press – Cape verde. The National Library of Cape Verde today hosts a mini reading marathon, which promotes the reading of the novel Moby Dick, by Herman Melville. The event takes place from 17:30.
This is an initiative of the New Bedford Whaling Museum, in the United States of America, in partnership with several institutions, especially libraries, museums and universities.
The objective, according to a note from the Ministry of Culture, is to promote a moment of reading in Portuguese the novel Moby Dick by Herman Melville, published in 1851.
The session will take place in the BNCV Conference Room, starting at 5:30 pm.
