National Police has ongoing “several operations” to “put an end” to crime

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Minister of Internal Affairs, Paulo Rocha, said that the National Police (PN) has undergoing several operations to “put an end” to the recent crime wave in the country, completing that the institution is fulfilling its part.

Paulo Rocha made these statements to the press, leaving the closing ceremony of the National Police third course of chiefs of police, held today, which were attended by 36 graduates.

“We live in times when the challenges are greater. At this time the PN has in progress several operations… we have stronger operations, special operations for criminal prevention, aiming to put an end to and tell citizens to maintain confidence, the PN is attentive (…) and to do its part”, he stressed.

During his speech at the closing ceremony of the PN chiefs of police, the Minister of Internal Affairs said that this act represents the realization of another step in the transformation process of the National Police to which it had proposed.
