The improvements carried out for the requalification of the infrastructure include an artificial lawn, synthetic athletics track, tribune of honor, painting of benches and hardware, replacement of chairs, maintenance of generators and also interventions on the ramp for people with disabilities, and the removable tunnel .

According to the Government, the interventions at the National Stadium “go beyond” the recent demands of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), which authorized the national team to play in the country’s largest sports infrastructure, referring to the third round of qualifying for the competition
