This Saturday, September 2nd, Sporting da Boa Vista beat Batuque de São Vicente by 1-0, in the game of the first round of the Under-19 National Football Championship, held at the National Stadium, in the city of Praia. The only goal was scored, midway through the second half, by midfielder Perry from Boavista.
In the game that opened this first edition of this under-19 event, the teams from EPIF, representing Santiago Sul, and Menifute, from Sal Island, tied to a goal.
The goals were scored during the complementary stage, by Messi, for Praia and Márcio, for the Salense team.
The competition continues on Monday, September 4th, with the games of the second round in which Menifute will face Sporting da Boa Vista and, in the second match, Batuque will measure forces with the EPIF.
In the classification, Sporting da Boa Vista leads with three points, followed by EPIF and Menifute, with one point each, and Batuque, in the last position, without any points.
According to the regulation of the competition, the teams play each other, one hand, and the first two play in the final, on the 9th of September, at the National Stadium.
