Africa-Press – Cape verde. Four ambassadors presented on Thursday their credentials to the President of the Republic, at the People’s Palace in Mindelo, bringing the possibilities of cooperating with Cabo Verde in the areas such as economy, environment, turism, health, education and fishing.
The first ambassador to present her credential was from Romania, Nicolae Nastace, who will have residence in Dakar (Senegal). The diplomat said that after two years of COVID-19 pandemic this is the time to relaunch and intensify cooperation between Romania and Cabo Verde.
“The aim of my mission in Cabo Verde is to relaunch, deepen and diversify the bilateral relationship between Romania and the Republic of Cabo Verde in all areas at bilateral and multilateral level, as well as in the economic, educational, cultural and scientific fields.”
Bulgaria’s Ambassador Ivan Anguelov Naydenov, whose residence will be in Lisbon (Portugal). He pointed out that Cabo Verde and Bulgaria are friends countries and maintain a political relationship at the highest level, noting that “three years ago the Prime Minister of Cabo Verde made an official visit to that country”, this year “four planes arrived with Bulgarian tourists to Sal Island” and hopes “more tourists can come to Cabo Verde”.
