Africa-Press – Cape verde. The national director of the National Police (PN), Emanuel Estaline Moreno, highlighted the tranquility experienced in North Santiago in terms of public security, but says he is not yet satisfied with the results achieved.
The Superintendent General made these remarks in statements to the press at the end of his three-day visit to police structures in the North Santiago region, which culminated today in Assomada, Santa Catarina, with a meeting with the personnel from the six police stations that make up the North Santiago Regional Command (CRSN).
“We are never satisfied, but we have done everything we can to keep the situation better and better. In terms of registration, seeing for the data the situation is of tranquility”, said Estaline Moreno when asked by the journalist of Inforpress if he finishes his mission satisfied with the level of public security found in the Santiago Norte region.
However, despite the records, based on the annual data of the PN 2020/2021, the national director of the PN reported that there is an indication for a decrease in occurrences, however, assuming that there is a situation that lacks some attention.
